Nikkei still on the slide and takes USDJPY down with it

Not a good day for Asian equity markets

– Nikkei posting new session lows of 16433.34, down 3.5% as we head into the close

– Shanghai Comp Index down -1.4% at 2965.55

USDJPY also posting session lows of 116.81 dragged down by the falling Nikkei.
