Key events and releases for the week April 11 to April 15

There is a special meeting of the Fed Reserve to discuss the discount rates to be charged by the Federal Resever banks.  The last time they held one of these in November, the Fed ended up hiking in December.  Whether that suggests the same will happen this time, is unknown. One time does not make a trend.  Either way, we will need to wait to the April meeting anyway (unless the Fed really goes bonkers).  Remember as well GDP for 1Q is estimated to be 0.1% to 0.6% by most.  Is Chair Yellen really that ready to get on with it?
