US stock indices end the day near highs

S&P up 0.33%, Nasdaq up 0.26%

The US stock indices are ending the day higher with the S&P up 0.33%. The Nasdaq composite index was up 0.26% and the Dow ended up 0.37%. The Dow closed above the 18000 level (for what it is worth).
