Soon we’ll have Canadians making monetary policy in Canada, the UK and the US
What Cruz means is that the Fed should follow metrics strictly, not the judgement of the FOMC. It’s an idea that’s in vogue in some circles. Those are the same circles who fret about fiat money and the gold standard so he’s playing to that crowd.
