Details from the January 2016 US new home sales data report 24 February 2016
– New home supply 5.8 months vs 5.1 prior
– Average sale prices $278,800 vs $292,000 prior
Lower but not life changing…yet. We’ll watch the supply numbers vs sales, as if homes for sale rise while sales fall that will signal that the market could be flattening off. We’ll also see prices continue to come down too.
