Consumer confidence data from The Conference Board:
– Prior was 96.2 (revised to 96.1)
– Expectations 79.3 vs 84.7
– Present situation 116.4 vs 114.9 prior
– Jobs hard to get 22.7 vs 25.2 prior
It’s a slight miss but the present situation sub-index was good. Overall, this doesn’t change much of anything. Consumer confidence has been around these levels for more than a year.
